At age 9, Galen’s infant brother Mehdi was diagnosed with neuroblastoma — a rare aggressive cancer — and so Galen worked to help his newly single in raising Mehdi. Galen knows that trauma impacts whole families, and they require strength, support, and community to get through. Galen has continued to devote his life to serving families, and particularly single mothers and children. He graduated with honors from CSU (non-fiction writing) and with honors from University of Wyoming (Law). He has worked with the District Attorney and Attorney General, has helped recover record verdicts and settlements in two states. He has been awarded top 10 attorney (Colorado) twice. He presently specializes in helping families navigate spine injuries, brain injuries, and wrongful death. Galen enjoys cooking, reading, and is presently building a permaculture camp in Washington state.
